About Sivoia QS
Lutron's Sivoia QS Roman Shade Fabrication Kit is a wired motorization kit for custom-fabricated Roman shades. The kit carries a Roller 64, 100 or 150 drive.
- Tube with the electronic drive unit (EDU) and idler; two mounting brackets
- 4-pin terminal block, wire management bracket; RF receiver when wireless
- Headrail, fabric panel and lift cords: not included (085346)
- Controls the shade's movement, tracks position and moves to preset positions
- Works with Sivoia QS and Sivoia QS Wireless drives and controls
Sizes and lift
The guide below prints each drive's bracket-to-bracket width, lift capacity and torque from submittal 085346 (rev E). Selection starts from a fabric weight graph, then checks the combined weight: fabric, lift rings, cords, bands, battens, hembar.
Power and wiring
Each EDU takes a 24 V to 36 V DC input; the guide prints the watts per drive. The installer wires the 4-pin terminal block to guide 045520 and any wireless receiver to guide 045555.
Writing it into a tender
Attach submittal 085346 and write the shade section to performance specification 122400 (Window Shades). The contractor follows guide 045976 and the submittal's mounting pages, which require blocking or other structural material.
Which Sivoia QS drive to specify
Three drive classes, each with the case it suits and the limits Lutron prints for it. A drive class is Lutron's size group for a shade drive; the number is on your shade schedule and submittal. The source link opens the document that states them.

| Roller 100 | Wired Roman shades wider than 109.5 in (2781 mm), up to 145.25 in (3.68 m), or heavier than the Roller 64 table allows. |

| Roller 150 | The heaviest wired Roman panels, where the combined lift weight exceeds the Roller 100 table. |

1 Maximum shade height is not stated in submittal 085346 for any drive.
2 Submittal 085346 rates every kit for indoor use at 32 °F to 104 °F (0 °C to 40 °C), below 90% relative humidity, non-condensing.
3 Submittal 085346 gives the kits an 8 year limited warranty.
4 No larger Roman drive than Roller 150 is printed; above its table the weight must be reduced.
5 The hembar is the bar at the bottom of the shade fabric.
Questions about Sivoia QS
Eight questions specifiers and workrooms ask about the Sivoia QS Roman kit, answered from submittal 085346 and its guides.
How wide can a Sivoia QS Roman shade be?
Up to 145.25 in (3689 mm) bracket to bracket on the Roller 100 and Roller 150 kits, per submittal 085346.
- Roller 64: 17.5 in (445 mm) to 109.5 in (2781 mm)
- Roller 100 and 150: 24 in (610 mm) to 145.25 in (3689 mm)
- Roller 64 selections wider than 109.5 in (2781 mm) go to Roller 100
How do I choose between Roller 64, 100 and 150?
Submittal 085346 starts from a graph of fabric weight in oz/yd² (gsm) against fabric area in ft² (m²). A combined lift weight table then confirms the choice from two measurements:
- H: tube middle to the first lift ring or screw eye, horizontally
- V: vertical distance from the headrail to where the cord touches it
How much can each Sivoia QS Roman drive lift?
Up to 23.5 lb (10.66 kg) on direct lift with the Roller 150 kit (085346).
- Roller 64: 11.7 lb (5.3 kg) direct, 7.8 lb (3.54 kg) indirect at best
- Roller 100: 17.9 lb (8.12 kg) direct, 12.3 lb (5.58 kg) indirect at best
- Roller 150 indirect: 16.2 lb (7.35 kg) at best, through eye screws
What power does a Sivoia QS Roman kit need?
A 24 V to 36 V DC input at each EDU's terminal block, per submittal 085346.
- Roller 64: 52 W; Roller 100: 37 W; Roller 150: 45 W
- CAD: 30-output power panel enclosure
- CAD: Smart Panel, 120 V to 240 V input, 35 V output
What headrail does the workroom need for a Sivoia QS Roman kit?
The workroom's own: submittal 085346 excludes the headrail and sets minimum depths by drive.
- Roller 64: 2.50 in (64 mm) deep for a 1.67 in (42 mm) tube
- Roller 100, 150: 4.50 in (114 mm) deep for a 2.56 in (65 mm) tube
- Clearance 0.125 in (3 mm) minimum from each headrail end to its bracket
Can the Sivoia QS Roman brackets be fixed to a wall?
Not recommended by submittal 085346; the brackets go under the headrail.
- Wall-mounted headrail: L brackets rated 300 lb (136.1 kg) with Roller 64
- Roller 100 and 150: L brackets rated 450 lb (204.1 kg)
Every kit mounts on blocking or other structural material. The Roller 64 kit also mounts in a UK-shipment headbox, brackets underside or inner backside.
What comes in a Sivoia QS Roman fabrication kit?
Per 085346: a shade tube with EDU and idler fitted, two brackets with screws, a 4-pin terminal block.
- Wire management bracket; RF wireless receiver when QS Wireless control is chosen
- Roller 100, 150: four shade-to-bracket screws
- Roller 100, 150: idler support bracket; idler-adjust bracket to level the tube
Roller 64 kits add a headbox with endcaps for UK shipments.
