Reach the coupler hub set screws
Lutron allows coupled hembars to be aligned after mounting. Press the EDU arrow buttons to turn the drive shade until the coupler hub set screws can be reached.
Check: The coupler hub set screws face you.
Hold the roll and loosen
A second person holds the coupled panel's fabric roll so it cannot unroll. Loosen the coupler hub set screws without taking them out.
Check: The roll is held steady.
Warning: Loosen the set screws but 'do not remove' them.
Align the hembar
Turn the coupled panel's roll until its hembar lines up with the previously installed panel's hembar.
Clearance: Hembars within 0.125 in (3 mm)
Check: The two hembars sit level.
Retighten the set screws
With the hembars aligned, tighten the coupler hub set screws again with the torque driver.
Clearance: 6.0 in-lbs (0.7 N•m)
Check: Both screws are at torque.
